How to use a moisturiser
Use as the last step in your AM skincare routine. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. If you don’t apply liberally, you'll need to re-apply every two hours after your skin is exposed to direct sunlight.
RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 is best for normal to oily/combination skin. Those with drier skin who might find that this isn’t hydrating enough can consider layering it over a richer moisturiser like the RESIST Barrier Repair Moisturizer or try switching to the RESIST Skin Restoring Moisturizer SPF 50 instead.
While synthetic sunscreen actives can be a challenge for some with sensitive skin, many people have successfully used this product thanks to the additional skin-soothing antioxidants it contains. If you’re concerned, we recommend testing it in a small area to see how your skin responds since results can vary. If you experience sensitisation, we recommend the mineral-based RESIST Super-Light SPF 30 as an alternative.
Both RESIST moisturisers with SPF are suitable for normal, oily and combination skin prone to breakouts, but they differ in terms of texture and the active ingredients they contain. Youth-Extending SPF 50 is a sheer, synthetic formula with a lighter texture that’s ideal if you have normal, oily or combination skin prone to breakouts. RESIST Super-Light SPF 30 is a lightly tinted, shine-free mineral formula, which makes it more suitable for people with sensitive, oily skin.
CLEAR Ultra-Light Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 30+ is very similar to the RESIST Youth-Extending Fluid SPF 50 and is available as part of our CLEAR collection for acne-prone skin.
