Here is how you should use each product:
Gently apply your using fingers or a cotton pad over entire face and neck (avoid lash line and eyelids) after cleansing and toning. Do not rinse. Start slowly: Apply every other day and note skin's response. Then use up to twice daily. For daytime, always finish with a sunscreen rated SPF 30 or above. For nighttime, follow with the rest of your routine.
Once or twice daily, apply to face and neck. May be used alone or added to your favourite moisturiser or serum. For daytime, always follow with a sunscreen rated SPF 30 or greater.
Apply liberally as the last step in your morning skincare routine. Allow a moment to dry before applying makeup.
If you are new to chemical exfoliants and/or have sensitive skin, it’s always best to gradually introduce this type of product into your routine. Start slowly, monitor your skin and adjust accordingly. During the day, always use a moisturiser with a broad-spectrum sun cream rated SPF 30 or greater. The perception of smell can vary greatly between individuals, so what one person notices, another may not notice at all. Most will find that they can use this ultra-gentle exfoliant daily – even if new to AHAs. The unique combination of synthetic mandelic acid, time-released lactic acid plus a wealth of skin-friendly fermented and soothing micronutrients makes it a great option for first-time users or those who’ve been sensitive to other AHA products in the past.
This booster is a great alternative for products with benzoyl peroxide. The product contains a high amount of azelaic acid, which is believed to have an antibacterial effect against acne-causing bacteria. It also functions as a potent anti-inflammatory, so it helps reduce the swelling and redness that often accompanies acne. Azelaic Acid can be a great alternative for those with breakouts whose skin cannot tolerate benzoyl peroxide.
If your skin isn't exposed to sunlight for more than four hours, you don't need to reapply your moisturiser with SPF during the day. If you sweat or spend a lot of time outside, you should then reapply your moisturiser. Please make sure to always use a product with SPF generously to ensure optimal protection.
